Beloved in Christ
Grace and peace be with you. As we gather this Sunday, I am reminded of the quiet strength it takes to trust God especially when we don’t fully understand the path ahead. Thank you for showing up with faith in your hearts and a willingness to walk with God, even when the road feels uncertain.
God’s Word
God’s Word in Jeremiah 29:11 tells us:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
This promise isn’t just for yesterday. It’s alive for us today. God’s plan often unfolds one small step at a time, and even when it doesn’t match our expectations, it is always full of purpose and grace.
Trusting Even When It’s Hard
Think of Joseph, betrayed, imprisoned, forgotten. Yet, God was working all along. Joseph later said to his brothers, “What you meant for evil, God meant for good.” (Genesis 50:20)
Sometimes, embracing God’s plan means letting go of our own. It means believing that even our detours are known by Him.
Your Life, Part of God’s Story
Every moment of obedience, your patience, your prayers, your faithfulness—is part of something greater. You may not see the full picture now, but God does.
Let us be like Mary, who said, “Let it be to me according to your word” (Luke 1:38), trusting that God’s plan is always better than our own.
